MySQL存储3字节Emoji的3种解决方案

在使用MySQL存储微信用户昵称时,有时会发生报错。

Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x92\x94' for column 'name' at row 1
这是因为有些Emoji使用了4字节的UTF8字符,而MySQL默认只支持3字节的UTF8,所以报出以上错误。

由于我们的网站后端使用Go语言,如何在Golang+MySQL环境下解决这个问题,以下是我想到的3种解决方案:

1 名门正派:修改MySQL配置使其支持4字节UTF8字符

①支持4字节的UTF8字符集是utf8mb4,但要求MySQL版本为5.5.3及以上,若不是,请升级到较新版本
②修改database、table和column字符集

③修改mysql配置文件my.cnf(windows为my.ini)

修改后重启MySQL

④重启MySQL Server,检查字符集
1.)重启命令参考:/etc/init.d/mysql restart
2.)输入命令:mysql,进入mysql命令行(如果提示没权限,可以尝试输入mysql -u root -p
3.)在MySQL命令行中输入:SHOW VARIABLES WHERE Variable_name LIKE 'character_set_%' OR Variable_name LIKE 'collation%';

检查是否如下:

说明:collation_connection/collation_database/collation_server如果是utf8mb4_general_ci,没有关系。但必须保证character_set_client/character_set_connection/character_set_database/character_set_results/character_set_server为utf8mb4

优点:业务合理,不需要程序做处理,将来迁移数据时可以直接在数据库之间进行
缺点:需要修改数据库配置文件,且重启数据库和后台系统,有一定的风险,对于已上线的项目可能有较大的影响;需要客户端和驱动也支持utf8mb4字符集(经测试,Navicat 11.1.17无法正常显示)

2 简单粗暴:将4字节Emoji完全过滤

优点:没有兼容性问题,无任何后遗症
缺点:目前Unicode标准规定的Emoji有一小部分是4字节UTF8字符,这部分将永久丢失

3.旁门左道:利用微信昵称不能输入”<”、”>”的限制,将所有Emoji转换为字节码并用”<”、”>”包裹后存入数据库,读取时反向操作
